Interview-Based Video Packages and Pricing: 1-4 Spokespeople

Corporate Interview Videos

Viewers want authenticity. Matty D. Media produces videos that lead with its most important elements: its people! Interview-based video ads give a documentary style to commercial production.  These base video packages establish the quantity of footage recorded, produced, and the number of spokespeople are involved.  All base video production packages include copyright free music, simple graphics (ex. name, title, contact info), and one revision.  Additional rounds of revisions incur a small fee.  Every Matty D. Media production also includes professional lighting (unless naturally lighting is appropriate).

Does Production Value Matter To Your Brand?

We categorize video packages whether they’re produced in HD quality, 4K quality with one camera, or a higher-end 4K cinematic production.  HD is the most cost-effective.  4K is a higher quality.

Our first 4K option is a production with one videographer.

The 4K cinematic production involves a two person crew.  Film-like DSLR cameras are used. Cinematic elements, such as camera movements that “slide” across the subject, are incorporated.  Because it’s a 2-person shoot, there is also a wider variety of footage used in the final video.

Example: Two-person interview in 4K Cinematic

The first three B-roll sequences in this video “slide” across the subject.  That’s one of many cinematic elements you’ll notice.  A 2-person crew naturally gathers more footage and angles than a one-man-band.  This results in a wider variety of visuals in the final product.  For example, at the 1:06 mark in this video the jumps from a 2-shot of the interviewees to a close-up shot of one spokesperson.  This flexibility would not be possible without two cameras.

Our 4K cinematic productions also include unlimited use of Matty D. Media’s growing archive library of local and stock video.  For example, twenty seconds into this video you can see shots of downtown Lawrence, Kansas.  That B-roll footage was added to this production at no extra charge.

Corporate Video Production FAQ:

What is B-Roll?

B-roll is essential cover footage that compliments a narrative.  B-roll is almost synonymous with “action shots.”  However, not all B-roll is an action shot.  B-roll footage could also show a place or a product.

How can I add production value to my base?

Matty D. Media offers a variety of extra production elements.  We offer drone videography, custom animated graphic design, voiceover services, and more.  Click here to browse a la carte options.

Does a two person crew mean 2 cameras?

It depends on the project.  A majority of times, we roll two cameras during interviews with a 4K Cinematic production.  However, there are times when one of the crew members serves as a moderator and does not operate a camera.

4K vs. HD

A 4K video is about double the image quality of its HD counterpart.  Technically, 4K is 3840 x 2160 pixels whereas HD is 1920 x 1080 pixels.  In 2019, there are an estimated 35-40% of Americans who own a 4K television.  And a majority of Americans own a smartphone that supports 4K video.  Therefore, Matty D. Media recommends its clients produce content in 4K.
