Hourly Videography Rates for Kansas Videographers
Interviews: A $95 equipment deposit is required for video shoots that involve interviews. That cost covers the gear needed. That deposit guarantees that the videographer will be equipped with a lighting kit, microphones, tripod and, of course, the camera.

Action footage: A $75 equipment deposit is required for video shoots that involve action shots or beauty shots only. That cost covers the tripod, camera, and lighting kit (but not microphones).

*The equipment deposit is due for each independent date.
Video Editing Labor

Writing and Publishing Services
Matty D. Media is primarily a documentary-style video production company. We use open-ended interviews and unscripted commentary to craft our custom videos. However, our producers are fully capable of writing scripts. Scripting materials, even if for a portion of the video, controls the message. It’s also a necesity in broadcast television situations.
A typical 30 second video amounts to 75 words on paper. We write scripts based on your company’s vision for the video. We can go a step further and storyboard the video during pre-production. Writing services are bid on a case-by-case basis.

Production elements dictate the project cost. In addition to some of the traditional formats (interviews, music videos) that Matty D. Media produces, we offer additional production elements to enhance the final product. Below are some of the production elements we charge extra for.

*Rush Edits are video edits delivered within 3 business days from when the last piece of footage was gathered. Normally, Matty D. Media promises to deliver video edits for approval within 2 weeks.
*Every video production includes one free revision. Some larger projects allow for more.
Closed Captioning:
- 50 cents per word for traditional letterbox white on black text
- Matty D. Media can also make SRT files available to clients

All video productions by Matty D. Media include simple graphics. Company name, title, and contact info is naturally included. We partner with graphic designer to produce more sophisticated graphics. Please discuss custom graphical needs with your video producer during pre-production.
