Videography services for non-profit and corporate events for marketing lifecycle

Matty D. Media is a video production service that can both promote and cover non-profit and corporate events in their marketing lifecycle.  For example, take a look at our multimedia strategy dispatch for a recent event at Lied Center of Kansas.  Our professional videos play before, during, and after the event.  Let’s take a closer look at this case study.  If you are considering professional video production services for your non-profit or corporate events, this info could help you brainstorm.

Video production to promote events

There are really three phases of event videography coverage.  There’s the planning beforehand, the recording during, and the post-game coverage afterwards.  Sometimes, clients make the mistake of focusing on one of three.  For example, they’ll hire a videographer to record an event, but won’t engage a videographer to help promote an event.
During a recent event with LRM Foundation, Matty D. Media produced during all three phases of the event’s lifecycle.  The faith-based foundation produces two performance each year at the Lied Center of Kansas.  Our video production crew produced a PSA that played on stage during the show, but was also used to promote the event itself.
Multiple people read the same script from a TelePrompter against a green screen backdrop.  Our video editors mixed the final product so that everyone was represented within the 3 minute highlight video.  A colorful backdrop alternated behind each person during this inspiring promotion.  A slightly modified version of the show’s PSA was repurposed to promote the event in the weeks beforehand.  With a modest advertising budget, the video quickly gained 1,000 views on YouTube.

In 2025, clients should expect to pay roughly $50-$60 dollar per 1,000 video views on YouTube within an average market size.

Why hire a videographer to cover non-profit or corporate events

Capturing the energy and authenticity of an event as it happens is the cornerstone of great event videography. During the LRM Foundation’s performance at the Lied Center, our team ensured we had multiple cameras strategically placed throughout the venue. This setup allowed us to capture dynamic angles, including audience reactions, stage performances, and behind-the-scenes moments.

One camera operator was operating a zoom lens to capture close-ups of the performers, while another recorded wide-angle shots from the middle of the auditorium. A roaming videographer moved throughout the venue to capture candid moments of the audience and event staff during rehearsals. This comprehensive coverage ensured we had a variety of footage to work with, enabling a dynamic final video that showcased the event’s highlights and emotional impact.

The footage captured during the event not only served as a standalone keepsake for attendees but also provided valuable content for future promotional materials. High-quality audio recordings of the performances were synchronized with the video to create a polished and immersive viewing experience.

How video productions like testimonials amplify brands after an event

The final phase of event videography focuses on turning raw footage into compelling stories and sharing them with the intended audience. After the LRM Foundation’s event, our editing team meticulously reviewed hours of footage to select the best moments. These clips were woven into a narrative-driven highlight reel that celebrated the event’s success.

In addition to the highlight video, we created shorter social media clips designed for platforms like Instagram and Facebook. These bite-sized videos allowed the foundation to maintain audience engagement long after the event concluded. A dedicated email campaign also featured the highlight reel, thanking attendees and encouraging them to share the video within their networks.

In this LRM example, our video crew always captures testimonial interviews that focus questions on the brand identify and overall impact.

The highlight reel was uploaded to YouTube with an optimized title and description, ensuring it performed well in search results.

As always, paid promotions can targeted specific demographics likely to support the foundation’s mission.

Conclusion:  Why get multiple estimates for event videos

By investing in all three phases of event videography, clients like the LRM Foundation can amplify their message, engage their audience, and create lasting impressions. Whether it’s promoting an event, capturing its magic, or leveraging the footage for future campaigns, a comprehensive approach ensures maximum impact.  There’s no harm in getting multiple estimates.  Matty D. Media always provides free cost estimates for clients getting serious about video.  Those estimates can include different options for different phases.  For example, we can provide a cost estimate for just the event videography.  Or, we can cover two of three phrases.  Obviously, we’d be happy to produce all three!  Either way, call or text (785) 917-1999 to start the conversation today or just email us through the contact form.
