CEO Matt DeSarle hosts launch party
Matty D. Media is a video production service in Lawrence, Kansas that has been producing segments for local businesses since the Summer of 2015. This Fall, the company officially became a member of the business community by joining the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce. Surrounded by family, friends, colleagues and clients, CEO Matt DeSarle cut the ribbon at Broken Arrow Park in his neighborhood of Indian Hills.
In keeping true to its mission, Matty D. Media did not miss the opportunity to produce a video at its own ribbon cutting. Multiple business owners from around Lawrence shared testimonials about working with Matt DeSarle on video marketing. Clients from businesses such as Construction Specialties, Harris Auto Repair, Rodrock Chiropractic, Spurling Mechanical, Painted Kanvas, and others, were in attendance.
CEO Matt DeSarle also felt it was important to hire local vendors to help cater the event. Cross-promotional opportunities are an important part of Matty D. Media’s business locally. The local brands hired for the event were promoted heavily on Matty D. Media’s social media channels in the days leading up to the ribbon cutting.
Lawrence Chamber of Commerce representatives as well as city representatives were on hand for the ribbon cutting. City Commissioner Matthew Herbert said a few words before the ribbon was cut.
“I can tell just with your personality, that you’re going to make a really good product,” Herbert said. “I am glad you are doing it here in Lawrence, and not anywhere else,” Herbert continued.
Matty D. Media also manages social media for many of the clients that it produces videos for. A paper cutout with a mock Facebook video post was floating around at the ribbon cutting. The frame was the perfect fodder for photo opportunities throughout the ribbon cutting event.
