Production Crew Offers Mini Documentaries to Coincide with VHS Transfers
Lawrence, Kansas video production company Matty D. Media is offering new options to create short documentaries for clients who have recently digitized VHS tapes. These mini episodes are the perfect way to re-introduce the newly-digitized materials to the world. Both options involve a brief interview with the owner of the VHS tapes. He or she will serve as a host to re-introduce the materials. The documentary-styled approach will set the table about why it was important to transfer the footage, who “stars” in the footage, what’s going on during that time period, and where the stories take place. What clients say about these nostalgic moments is up to them.
The first documentary option is to create a 2-3 minute long highlight video. This short video is a perfect companion as a “play first” episode for those clients who are purchasing DVD’s of their memories.
The second option is an extended cut, or mini-documentary, which is approximately 10-15 minutes long.
